Our church is large. How will we practice social distancing with so many people attending worship?

In order to comply with the most recent CDC and Arkansas Department of Health (ADH) guidance for religious organizations, we will limit the number of individuals inside of the facility to 30% of the building’s capacity. Our facility can hold 800 individuals so this means, will be limit the capacity to 240.

Everyone in attendance will be required to wear a face-covering while in the facility

  • Please be sure to wear a face-covering that is made of a tight woven yet breathable material (i.e. cotton)
  • Anyone age 3 and up is to wear a face covering.
  • Keep your covering over your nose and mouth at all times while in the facility

  • No hugs, handshakes, fist bumps, etc.
  • Movement during worship should be kept to a minimum
  • The GLAD PAD and Fellowship will remain closed until further notice. If your child (ren) becomes restless during service, please exit through your entry door.
  • No small group, ministry, volunteer, etc meetings are to occur until further notice. Small group leaders will contact members with virtual Zoom meeting information.

What will happen when I arrive for worship?

  • Your temperature will be taken upon entry
  • If you are sick, you will be advised to return home and seek prompt medical attention.
  • You will be escorted to a seat. Please be kind to our first touch ministry. They have been trained to ensure social distancing is enforced during worship. Do not expect to sit on your regular pew.
  • If you remove your face covering for any reason other than in a health emergency, you will be asked to leave.

How do I pay my tithes and give my offerings during service?

To prevent the spread of COVID19, offering baskets will not be passed around. Please continue paying your tithes/ offering using Givelify, esmbc.com, and or mailing your contributions in. You may also drop your labeled envelope off in the secure mailbox outside of the main lobby doors of the sanctuary.

How will we exit the facility?

Instructions will be given at the end of service to ensure a safe and orderly exit from the building. You will be dismissed based on seating groups and directions by the first touch ministry. Please follow these instructions.
